my workmate got sent home the other day because he stunk so much of marijuana. he got into work about 8:50 and was gone by a quarter past nine. he still has his job. Another one of my workmates fucked off into town for an hour and a half to pick up some draw. It was not his lunch break either. I feel that my time is numbered myself. My constant striving to do as little as possible, while proudly extolling the values of my "one shirt - one week" policy is not winnning me any favours. I am trying to start a one shirt one week club, but so far it seems to be just me and matt.

lets see how long i last. i'm too scared to admit any of my workbound felonies on the internet, but believe me - there are plenty.

40 Became 20 Became 15...

So, in all the wisdom and insight i have garnered over the past 25 years on this earth it decided to manifest itself in the idea that i could single handedly home make 40 t-shirts for our next tour. The plan was that all shirts have the same back print but have their own individual and unique pocket print on the front. Sounds easy? Read on.


Not much hard work going on

This is the nightmare i had got myself into and would be all i'd see fot he next two days. I think i'd done about 20 at this point and been to the hobby shop twice because the first knife i bought (the cheapest) was shite. My pointing finger is starting to go numb here and the realisation of how much work this will be is slowly dawning on me.

Approaching the end my dad asked if he could help...


So, all the stencils cut out and my soul destroyed i got the can of fabric spray paint out to start the 'fun' part.


Three shirts in and the fucking can ran out the robbing simply spray bastards. I wasn't forking out another 8 quid so i had to resort to fabric paint pots and fucking brush. At this point i had compromised with myself to make 20.

Somehow i found the time to make this for a 90's film themed fancy dress party i went to. It's a copy of the Aerosmith shirt Garth wore in Waynes World. Even i was impressed with it.


I looked like this.

Conniseurs will notice the electricians belt that he uses to zap the bully in the club from the first film.

Back to the shirts, i painted them in batches of three because the stencil gets soggy and need to dry out by the fire.


They then needed to be ironed by a very helpful rented mother.


Finally i finished 15 in time for tour, the others will be ready at a later date. So if you're not a small and you want one now i suggest you go on a diet.
